As a black woman, Cy’ Reshia has endured personal trials with mental illness and has witnessed the negative stigmas, beliefs, lack of education, and unacceptance that is attached in our families and communities. Mental health is real, it is normal, and it greatly impacts how we function on a daily basis. The black community must start believing this.
